Warriors coach Steve Kerr says he is more similar to Draymond Green than people think. Kerr and Green have a very defined relationship, but they are both on the same page when it comes to how much of their personalities are in check.

Steve Kerr is a basketball player who has been in the NBA for over 20 years. He is currently the head coach of the Golden State Warriors. In an interview with The Athletic, Kerr said that he and Draymond Green were more similar than people think. We both have the ability to snap, to completely lose our minds, said Kerr.

The Warriors, led by Steve Kerr and Draymond Green, are gearing up for a new NBA season that will be full with obstacles for the 6x NBA champions. The Dubs aim to return to the top of the Western Conference and fight the rest of the league for the title after two dismal seasons.

During their stay in the Bay, Kerr and Green had a few quarrels, but it only served to deepen their bond. Kerr made it plain that he is relying on Draymond to help the Warriors accomplish their objectives ahead of a new season in which they will attempt to recreate past glory.

Steve shared his expectations for Draymond this season in an interview with Tim Kawakami of The Athletic.

Kerr was a Team USA assistant who spent a lot of time with both Draymond and Durant during the gold-medal run in Tokyo, and they appeared to get along well. I asked Kerr whether he and Draymond were on good terms heading into training camp.

Kerr said, “I adore Draymond.” “I’m really looking forward to this season. He’ll play a significant role. When you consider what these guys have accomplished in the past decade, it’s incredible. I’m sitting at Chase right now, staring at photos of Steph and Klay and Andre and Draymond on the wall. It’s incredible to think back a decade to when these men first began to come. Consider what exists today in the Bay Area, the bond that these players have forged with our supporters, what they’ve accomplished in terms of basketball success, but maybe most significantly, this incredible bond with the fan base. It’s stunning. Draymond is clearly smack dab in the midst of it all. I consider myself fortunate to be able to teach all of these young men and am looking forward to this year.”

Furthermore, the head coach discussed his connection with the player, stating that they have similar dispositions and may lose their cool fast when things don’t go their way. Still, he believes it has contributed to the team’s success, and he doesn’t anticipate that to change.

Kerr and Draymond are far more similar than many people assume, as I’ve stated numerous times. When they’re in the heat of battle, they’re both jittery, which sometimes leads to amazing things from both of them and other times leads to brief outbursts of rage. The point is that the Warriors’ relationship has worked out 98 percent of the time, and they wouldn’t have three titles if it hadn’t.

Kerr remarked, “We both have the potential to crack, to totally lose our heads.” “So, you’re correct; we’re more similar than most people think. I believe we have a competitive fire within of us that is quite comparable. It is what motivates us. It’s what has motivated me since I was a little child. It’s what motivates Draymond. We will always be driven by our competition.

“It’s a part of who we are as a company, and it’s a part of who we are as individuals. It’s something I consider, and I’m grateful every day for the opportunity to fight with Draymond Green.”

They’ve built something special in the Bay Area, reaching the NBA Finals five times in a row from 2015 to 2019, winning three titles in the process.

Klay Thompson is back after a two-year hiatus, and Stephen Curry will attempt to prove he’s still one of the league’s greatest players. The Los Angeles Lakers may have a significant rival in the Western Conference if things go as planned for the Dubs.
