4 bold predictions for Week 3 vs. Rams

Sarah Jacobson 4 min read

The Rams are in the midst of a three-game losing streak, but they have shown signs of life in recent weeks. Here are four bold predictions for Week 3 vs. the Rams.

The week 3 game picks is a prediction for the upcoming week. In Week 3, the Rams will come out on top over the Panthers.

Tom Brady and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers have won their first two games of the 2021 NFL season, continuing where they left off last season. After defeating the Dallas Cowboys in Week 1, the Buccaneers continued their winning streak in Week 2 by defeating the Atlanta Falcons 48-25. The Buccaneers will now face the Los Angeles Rams on the road in Week 3 in an interesting matchup.

The Rams may provide Tampa Bay with its greatest test of the early season in their Week 3 matchup. So far this season, Matthew Stafford and company have beaten both the Chicago Bears and the Indianapolis Colts. Los Angeles has a strong offense with Stafford at the helm, as well as a star-studded front and secondary defense.

Brady has looked like a clear MVP candidate so far this season. He’s thrown for 655 yards on 65.1 percent of his passes, with nine touchdowns and two interceptions. Many expected the 44-year-old to regress, but he hasn’t showed any indications of doing so.

In addition to Brady, the offense that surrounds him has been doing well. Rob Gronkowski seems to be in the same shape as he was five years ago, and Antonio Brown, who may or may not be ready this week, has performed well. Currently, Tampa Bay seems to be another genuine Super Bowl contender in the NFC.

With that in mind, let’s take a look at four bold predictions for the Buccaneers versus the Rams this week.

Buccaneers Week 3 Predictions with a Twist

4. Rob Gronkowski has two touchdown receptions.

The Buccaneers have been very pleased with Rob Gronkowski’s performance so far. Gronk is beginning to resemble his former self after returning from “retirement” to rejoin Brady in Tampa Bay. In only two games this season, he has caught 12 receptions for 129 yards and four touchdowns.

Gronkowski will be crucial for the Buccaneers, as they face a difficult opponent. Tampa Bay will want to avoid throwing towards Jalen Ramsey as much as possible. Against the Rams’ linebackers, Gronkowski will be able to create mismatches.

Brady and Gronkowski have always had a great rapport on the field, and that hasn’t changed. Gronk is set to have another great week, and we expect him to score two more touchdown receptions from Brady.

3. Matthew Stafford is forced to throw two interceptions against Tampa Bay.

For years, quarterback Matthew Stafford has been one of the NFL’s most underappreciated players. The fact that he plays for the Detroit Lions, who haven’t been a major contender in years, contributed to his lack of attention. However, now that he is with the Rams in Los Angeles, he is on a national platform and has had the opportunity to showcase his tremendous arm ability.

Stafford has completed 69.6 percent of his passes for 599 yards, five touchdowns, and one interception in his first two games in Los Angeles. He’s a great match for Sean McVay. Despite his early success with the Rams, the Buccaneers will put him through a difficult week this week.

The Buccaneers’ defense has shown over the past two years that it is capable of making several plays in a row. That will be the case again this week, with the Tampa Bay defense picking off two Stafford passes.

2. Tom Brady tosses four more touchdown passes

Brady made it obvious last week against the Atlanta Falcons that he will be a contender for another MVP award this season after tossing five touchdown passes. How about four touchdown passes against a great Rams defense to follow up that type of performance?

The Buccaneers have provided Brady with all of the weapons he could possibly want. Despite the fact that Brown may be unable to play this week because to COVID-19 limitations, the “GOAT” will appear just as good as he did last week.

Brady is expected to have a four-touchdown performance. At least two of those touchdowns will be caught by Gronkowski. Brady will once again demonstrate why he is regarded as the best quarterback of all time and why he is a strong chance to win the NFL MVP award in 2021.

1. The Buccaneers are 3-0 after a convincing victory.

Despite the fact that the Rams are a strong football club on both sides of the field, the Buccaneers will win this game. This season, Brady is playing at an even higher level, and the offense that surrounds him will be virtually difficult to stop for any NFL team.

The Buccaneers have a defensive unit capable of creating plays and putting pressure on opposing quarterbacks once again.

In the first half, Los Angeles will put up a fight, but the Buccaneers will pull away in the second half. We anticipate a 42-24 win for Tampa Bay with Brady leading the way.

After this performance, Tampa Bay should easily be regarded the best team in the NFC. The Rams may have suffered a setback, but they will still be a playoff contender at the end of the season. This is going to be a really exciting game, and Buccaneers fans are going to love it.
