Tom Brady speaks about young starting QBs and praises unselfish Buccaneers receivers

Three rookie quarterbacks — Mac Jones of the New England Patriots, Trevor Lawrence of the Jacksonville Jaguars, and Zach Wilson of the New York Jets – all started their first career NFL game on Sunday, all of which ended in defeats. Brady will face several of these young quarterbacks this season, including Wilson (22), Tagovailoa (23), Jalen Hurts (23), and Daniel Jones (23). (24). The most important matchup will take place in Week 4 when Brady and the Buccaneers go to New England to face Jones and the Patriots. Brady has a chance to surpass Brees as the NFL’s all-time passing yards leader in that game.

Brady praises Evans and the Buccaneers’ wide outs.
Brady discussed his outstanding receivers during his weekly visit on SiriusXM’s “Mad Dog Radio” program. Brady stated in the interview that none of his wide receivers demand the ball during games and even referred to them as “unselfish.” Brady’s primary targets against the Cowboys were wideouts Chris Godwin and Antonio Brown, as well as tight end Rob Gronkowski.
Godwin and Brown combined for 226 yards and two touchdowns, while Gronkowski had 90 yards and two touchdowns on the ground. On six targets, Mike Evans, the Buccaneers’ best receiver, had just three receptions for 24 yards. “Mike didn’t have as many yards as I did, but I have no doubt Mike will earn his,” Brady said, according to Erin Walsh of Yardbarker.com.
