The Wings of Fire series is written by Tui T. Sutherland and illustrated by Mike Holmes. It follows the adventures of Clay, Tsunami, Glory, Starflight, Sunny, and their friends as they try to end the war between the MudWings and the IceWings and discover secrets about their pasts along the way.

Peril: A SkyWing dragonet and one of the main protagonists of the series. She is brave, fierce, and determined, but she can also be impulsive and reckless. She is best friends with Glory.
Fatespeaker: A NightWing dragonet and one of the main protagonists of the series. She is wise, intelligent, and strategic, but she can also be cold and calculating. She is best friends with Starflight.
Morrowseer: A NightWing dragon and one of the main antagonists of the series. He is dark, mysterious, and power-hungry, but he is also intelligent and strategic. He is the mentor of Starflight.
Flame: A SkyWing dragonet and one of the main antagonists of the series. He is cruel, sadistic, and power-hungry, but he is also intelligent and strategic. He is the right-hand dragon of Queen Scarlet.>

SUMMARY

In the first book, The Dragonet Prophecy, Clay, Tsunami, Glory, Starflight, and Sunny are revealed to be the five dragonets of destiny who are prophesied to end the war. They must embark on a dangerous journey to find the this article’s lair and stop the war before it destroys their world.
In the second book, The Lost Heir, Tsunami must return to her home kingdom of the SeaWings to take her rightful place as heir to the throne. However, she soon discovers that there is more to being queen than she ever realized, and that her friends may need her more than she thought.
In the third book, The Hidden Kingdom, Glory sets out on a mission to find her missing family. However, she soon discovers that there is more to being a queen than she ever realized, and that her friends may need her more than she thought.
In the fourth book, The Dark Secret, Starflight is kidnapped by the NightWings and taken to their island. He soon discovers that there is more to being a dragon than he ever realized, and that his friends may need him more than he thought.
In the fifth book, The Brightest Night, Sunny is captured by the SandWings and taken to their kingdom. She soon discovers that there is more to being a queen than she ever realized, and that her friends may need her more than she thought.
